Gas Stream Evaluation

Purpose

• To characterize emission streams to facilitate the selection of the best available control technology
• To determine operating efficiency of existing gaseous and particulate filtration equipment

Procedure

• Measure and report gas stream physical parameters including volume flow, density, dry and wet bulb temperatures, pressure, multiple phases
• Sample, analyze and report gaseous composition with speciation as
  necessary, employing detection limit, accuracy, and methodology as
  is appropriate
• Sample, analyze and report particulate loading with size distribution and compositional analysis as required

Report

• Provide a written report identifying all pertinent gas stream parameters
• As an option, provide a 'first cut' evaluation of possible abatement and emission control strategies
